FIELD TRIPS
AYC hosts field trips to a wide variety of venues providing new and exciting experiences for the youth we serve. These include trips to museums, farms, sporting events, corporations, businesses, colleges and universities.

TUTORING
AYC provides individualized tutoring at after school programs served by adults from nearby communities. Also AYC, in partnership with Dominican University, provides tutoring at Dominican led by the university students.

MENTORING
AYC partners with business professionals from a wide range of specialties who volunteer to be mentors/coaches for the students as they progress through their academic programs into their careers.

Additionally, AYC has built a relationship with colleges, universities and trade schools that have committed to supporting and encouraging students to continue their education.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION
AYC facilitates a partnership between the Economic Awareness Council, Old Second National Bank and local non profits to provide financial education to youth in underserved neighborhoods of Chicago. The program is five, one hour financial education classes by certified teachers, financial educators, and financial professionals.



SPORTS AND LIFE SKILLS CAMP
AYC hosts basketball, golf, volleyball, cooking and other sports and life skills experiences at gyms and educational facilities throughout the Chicago area.


FOOD DRIVES
AYC works with businesses, individuals, and food pantries providing much needed food to underserved communities in Chicago. In many cases this food consists of nutritious fruits and vegetables which are often difficult to find in their communities.
